About Cult Media
Cult Media is a full-lifecycle, full-stack growth agency working with 7- to 9-figure ecommerce brands and SaaS and app companies with seven-figure-plus ARR or more than $2 million raised. We bring paid advertising and organic creator-led growth together, connecting strategy, content production, and campaign execution. For Organic / Canvas UGC, you’ll develop creative direction and help creators bring it to life consistently.
The role
We’re looking for a strategist who studies why organic content works and can turn that understanding into briefs other people can execute. You’ll research each client’s audience, develop campaign concepts, and guide creators from the first idea through publishing.
The work goes beyond collecting trending videos. You need to explain what makes a format relevant to a particular product, how to adapt it without copying it, and what the creator should do on camera to make it land.
You’ll also own the creative follow-through: reviewing drafts, coordinating the content calendar, and deciding what to repeat or change after posts go live. This is an organic campaign strategy role, not a paid-media buying position or a scheduling-only social media job.
What you’ll own
- Study the client’s product, audience, and niche to identify the situations and problems that make the product relevant.
- Research organic short-form content on TikTok, Instagram Reels, and YouTube Shorts, separating repeatable patterns from isolated viral posts.
- Develop campaign concepts and content formats that give creators a clear direction without making every video sound the same.
- Write briefs covering the hook, story beats, product integration, and any footage needed to make the idea work.
- Review creator drafts and give feedback on clarity, delivery, pacing, and whether the content feels native to the platform.
- Coordinate creator deliverables and the publishing calendar, flagging delays and weak drafts early.
- Review post performance and audience response, then turn those learnings into the next round of briefs.
- Explain campaign direction and creative learnings to clients, using actual posts and results to make your case.
What strong work looks like
- Your research leads to specific concepts for the client, rather than a folder of unrelated trends.
- Creators understand the idea and can execute it in their own voice.
- The product has a natural, meaningful place in the content instead of appearing as an afterthought.
- Successful formats develop into a repeatable series of variations, rather than ending with one high-view post.
- Publishing stays organized, and performance reviews lead to concrete changes in the next batch of content.
What you’ll bring
- Organic short-form examples or campaigns you helped strategize or direct, with your contribution clearly identified.
- A repeatable research process and the ability to explain why a format worked for a particular audience.
- Strong instincts for hooks, storytelling, product integration, and platform-native delivery.
- Experience briefing and directing creators, including giving feedback that improves the next draft.
- The organization to manage multiple creators, revisions, and publishing deadlines across campaigns.
- An ability to discuss reach, watch time, engagement, and available conversion signals without treating views alone as proof of business impact.
Why this role at Cult Media
- Build the campaign direction. Your research shapes the concepts, creator briefs, and formats the team develops.
- Develop ideas across creators. Learn how the same concept changes with delivery and execution, then use those differences to improve the campaign.
- See the work through publishing. Stay close to the content after it goes live and use audience response to decide what comes next.
